I'm sure you are expecting me to say a resounding YES I'd love you to join ... but I'm not!!!

I'm going to tell you a story first!!!

Bill Britt was one of the most successful distributors in Amway. Some years ago, 20/20 did a feature story on Amway. They spent 19 minutes interviewing whiners and complainers including several distributors who had failed and showed the garages full of products they couldn't sell.

During the last minute of the show, Mr. Britt was interviewed in front of his palatial home. He was asked, "Mr. Britt, this business has obviously worked for you. What's your secret?"

He replied, "There is no secret. I simply showed the plan to 1200 people.

900 said, “No” and only 300 signed up.

Out of those 300, only 85 did anything at all.

Out of those 85 only 35 were serious.

Out of those 35, 11 made me a millionaire."

Bill worked through the numbers.

ANY business is a numbers game, plain and simple! Treat this as YOUR OWN BUSINESS and be determined and committed and your own business will succeed.

Yes you are going to have to contact people – and I don't mean just contact 5 people and give up because they said no. You are going to have to contact lots of people.

I know most MLM companies say “Start with friends and family” but really my friends were the worst and were not interested initially. Of course when I started making money, they then said “you know maybe I should join your business” but I know most of them do not have the determination required to make a success!!!

.. ONLY IF YOU ARE SERIOUS!

I have had much greater success with total strangers – people I have found by:

• posting adverts on the internet;

• replying by email to the enquiries;

• paying for adverts in local newspapers;

• handing out flyers;

• chatting in pubs and then handing out my business card.
• and many other methods.

I would expect you to do the same.

If you are not prepared to do at least some of the above, then please do not join!

This is called network marketing. It is not “net sit-at-home-or-at-the-beach-and-do-nothing marketing”. That doesn't work. If you do that, you will fail and then you will blame the opportunity. I do not want you to join if you are going to fail.

I only want serious people to join. Earnest people that are resolute about making money in this business.

I don't mind whether you will spend just one hour a day or if you are going to be totally committed and spend 12 hours a day marketing your business. I just want serious, committed people because I am a determined, dedicated upline and I don't want to waste my time with lazy time-squanderers!
